Terracotta Crafts and India
Terracotta,
type of pottery, is a clay-based unglazed or glazed earthenware, where the
fired body is absorbent. Terracotta is the word generally used for figure made
in ceramic, and also for a variety of practical uses including containers,
water and waste water pipes, bricks, and surface decoration in building creation.
The term is also utilized to refer to the normal, brownish orange color, of
most terracotta, which varies significantly.
It is very old arts and crafts. Terracotta crafts produces all over the world from the very old times. Indian states like West Bengal, Chattisgarh etc. also produces this crafts from the ancient times. Indian terracotta arts are famous all over the world.

Silk Saree weaving in Varanasi
Silk weaving
is the leading manufacturing industry in Varanasi. Weaving is usually done
within the house, and most weavers in Varanasi are Muslims. Varanasi is famous
throughout India for its making of very well silk and Banarasi sarees, which
are a lot used for marriages and particular instances. Lots of Varanasi's
Muslims belong to a weaver community that famous by the name of Ansari, which stands
"helper" in Arabic. For generations they have passed on their expertise
from father to son, hand-weaving silk on room-sized foot-powered looms. They
are approached into Sarees worn only for unusual events; many Indian girls
dream of wearing Varanasi silk Sari for their wedding day.

Kathakali Dance and it's Uniform
Kathakali is a stylized traditional Indian dance-play renowned
for the gorgeous make-up of characters, detailed outfits, detailed motions and
well-defined body movements presented in melody with the anchor playback tune
and complementary thumping. It initiated
in the country's current day state of Kerala during the 17th century and has extended
over the years with developed looks, improved gestures and added matters
besides more elaborate singing and accurate pulsation. The subjects of the
Kathakali are spiritual in character. They normally deal with the Mahabharata,
the Ramayana and the olden scriptures famous as the Puranas. This is presented
