Wood
carving arts of Kashmir is well-known all over the world. Specially, wood of
walnut tree's is uses to produce this crafts in Kashmir. In India Walnut tree breeds
only in Kashmir and the wood of this tree is very strong which makes it perfect
for carving. The furniture and souvenirs made from this wood are of better
quality with inherent designs, enormous craftsmanship engaged but the worth are
still reasonable.
